Welcome to our clay-filled world!
Entering Clayverly’s Pottery Studio is stepping into the long time dream of Stacey and Zoe Caverly— a mother-daughter duo passionate about accessible pottery.
The mission is to provide pottery experiences in a variety of formats, where there is something for everyone. .
Stacey first began pottery in 2001, studying at Canadore College. Zoe joined her mother there in 2011 for a sculpture course. Soon after, Zoe left North Bay. Upon her return, she learned the craft of the potters’ wheel from Stacey. Zoe began to assist in Stacey’s classes, eventually fully taking over the role of Beginner’s Wheel instructor. Through the years, the Caverly’s dreamed of their own studio. Though this idea was often discussed between the two of them, it became prioritized when Zoe became a mother. After witnessing first hand the barriers of trying to participate in community as a parent, they decided it was time to turn talk into task and set to work on opening Clayverly’s in 2024.
We thank you so much for being here and allowing us to do what we love.
